Meet MaKayla

Meet Micah
Micah is curious, creative, and always ready for a new adventure! He loves drawing, playing sports, exploring science, making people laugh, and trying new things. Best of all, he's MaKayla's good friend! Together, they encourage each other, learn important life lessons, and discover that every challenge is an opportunity to grow.
Like everyone else, Micah sometimes faces challenges that make him feel nervous, disappointed, or unsure. But with encouragement from his family, support from his friends, and faith in God, he learns that every challenge is a chance to grow stronger, wiser, and more confident. He discovers that being brave doesn't mean you're never afraid, it means trusting God and doing the right thing, even when something feels hard.
Micah reminds young readers that God gave each of us special gifts and talents to use for His glory. Whether he's cheering on a friend, solving a problem, creating something new, or trying his best on the field, Micah shows that kindness, perseverance, and faith can make a big difference.

Hello, friends!
August is an exciting time of year because it marks the beginning of a brand-new school year for many children. A new school year brings new teachers, new classmates, new lessons, and new opportunities to learn and grow. It can also bring butterflies in our stomachs, worries about fitting in, or concerns about trying something new. Those feelings are completely normal, but they don't have to stop us from moving forward.
Building resilience means believing in God's purpose for your life even when something feels difficult. It means learning from mistakes instead of giving up, asking for help when you need it, showing kindness to others, and remembering that every challenge is helping you grow stronger. Each school day is a chance to practice courage, patience, and perseverance.
As you begin this new school year, remember that God goes with you wherever you go. He gives you wisdom to learn, courage to face challenges, and strength to overcome obstacles. Whether you're making a new friend, studying for a test, or trying something you've never done before, trust that God has equipped you with everything you need to succeed.
This month, I encourage you to walk into your classroom with confidence, treat others with kindness, and never forget that resilience grows one step at a time. Believe in God's purpose for your life, keep your faith strong, and remember that every new beginning is an opportunity to become the amazing person God created you to be.
